i like overly sweet, and you have a perfect body type to pull it off! this is adorable. also, to go less sweet, you could tuck the shirt into some gray slacks or something. :)
if you're worried about looking wide, belt the upper half of yourself. but everyone out here thinks you look awesome, including me! You have great legs.
